Delaware Sub Shops franchisees pay an initial franchise fee of $20,000 for a full service store. Fees for subsequent stores under our Area Development Program are $17,500. Individuals will need a capital investment ranging from $81,100 to $98,600. Delaware Sub Shops does not provide financing for unit and multi-unit store start -up capital. The total cost of each store unit varies by size and location.
Royalties are 4.5 per cent of gross sales. Advertising contribution is 2% of gross sales.
Area development: Agreements are available to those individuals and investment groups that desire to purchase an exclusive territory for the purpose of developing and marketing multiple units within that exclusive territory. Fees for individual franchise units sold within the territory are split between the Developer and the Corporate Office. Training for those units are done at the corporate headquarters. Franchise compliance and system consistency are the responsibility of the Developer.

Preliminary site work, lease negotiations, equipment purchases, required capital by franchisee, and other necessary work are done prior to training and last as long as necessary to insure all things are in place prior to the commencement of training.
How is food quality and consistency maintained?
All products with the exception of produce, are delivered by a national food distributor to all stores on a weekly basis. Our produce is purchased from local sources and delivered fresh to your stores daily.
